Drop Forged Turnbuckle Jaw/Jaw – US Style

• Drop forged, high tensile steel, SAE 1035 or SAE 1045.
• Hot dipped galvanised finish.
• Meets the performance requirements of ASTM F1145-92 (formerly US Fed. Spec. FF-T-791b).
• Temperature range -20C up to +200C.
• Proof load tested to 2.5 times the W.L.L.
• Minimum breaking load is 5 times the W.L.L.
• UNC Threads.
• All items available with lock nuts.
• Up to 5/8 size supplied with safety bolt, sizes 3/4 and above with cotter split pins.
• Marked with CE, UKCA, W.L.L, manufacturers ID, size, traceability code and L/R.
• Certification – Declaration of Conformity.
• Turnbuckle used for adjusting and ensuring proper tension in roped, cabled, wired, and rod systems. Threaded inserts at both ends, allow for adjustments by rotating the body. Its versatile design allows for precise increments, making it a valuable tool for various applications such as boat rigging, fence tensioning, lifting rigs, and even in theatrical and boxing/wrestling settings.
